As a working musician, I often heard
the discouraging phrase,
"There's no money in music."
It’s Julian here,
In the early 1990s, as a working musician, I frequently encountered the disheartening phrase, "There's no money in music." Despite this discouragement, I managed a small band and achieved some success with steady gigs that helped us cover our rent.
As the mid-2000s approached, I decided to take a shot at commercial success by working with music labels. However, the experience proved unfulfilling, as most labels failed to fulfill their financial obligations, leaving me and many other musicians struggling to make ends meet. It became clear that the income generated from sales was swallowed up by label-related expenses, exacerbating the financial hardship faced by the majority of musicians.
Tragically, even today's well-established artists still find themselves trapped in this unfortunate reality, battling to receive their fair share from the music industry.
However, everything changed when I decided to focus my efforts on licensing my music instead…
Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that my music would make its way onto some of the most esteemed television and radio networks worldwide. It is genuinely awe-inspiring to hear my soundtracks being featured in commercial broadcasts. Even to this day, I am wholeheartedly dedicated to sharing the incredible journey that brought me to this point with all of you.
With great excitement, I am delighted to announce the debut of my music licensing course.
Following that, I've taken on the role of providing private coaching to fellow musicians, helping them navigate their way into the sync music industry. Presently, I am thrilled to announce the launch of my music licensing course, aimed at assisting others in entering this highly lucrative field. My journey was not without its share of challenges, and it took several years to reach this point, but now I stand ready to share my valuable insights with those eager to make their mark in the industry.

$721, 255
